Bulletin Boards and Early Networks

Bulletin board systems were run from spare rooms on a single phone line. Their message bases, file libraries and door games were the first online communities most people joined.

This collection preserves the boards themselves, recovered from their operators’ hard disks and backups, so that they can be visited as they were.
