Cinder BBS

Tobias Osei, 1992. Website or online service for bulletin boards.

Description

A dial-up bulletin board run from Ironfield by its sysop, Tobias Osei, with message bases, a file library and 798 members.

Provenance

Recovered from the last surviving backup after the original server was scrapped. The drive had seized. Its platters were moved to a donor drive on a clean bench and imaged there. About 67 percent of the data could be read; the gaps are mapped.
