The Quiet Lighthouse BBS

Nuno Rowe, 1987. Website or online service for bulletin boards.

Description

A dial-up bulletin board run from Redcombe Bay by its sysop, Nuno Rowe, with message bases, a file library and 900 members.

Provenance

Rebuilt from a server image provided by the site’s former administrator. The disks had been stored beside a loudspeaker, and one track on each was weak. Most of the work survives, but some files are lost. The damage map lists them.
