Description
A game written in BASIC by an eleven-year-old, recovered from a cassette her parents had kept for thirty-seven years. The archive’s forty-one-thousandth restored title.
The player steers a lunchbox through an asteroid field to an astronaut who has forgotten his sandwiches. It has three levels, a high-score table and a title tune.
Provenance
Sent to Lazarus by its author, now an engineer, who had not been able to play it since 1989. The tape had stretched, and was sampled at reduced speed so that the damaged blocks could be repaired by hand.
It became the archive’s forty-one-thousandth restored title in July 2026. Its author has released it for anyone to play.
