Sprite Horizon

Prism Arts, 1990. Demo for the ZX Spectrum.

Description

A 40-kilobyte intro for the ZX Spectrum by Prism Arts, released at East Wrenbridge Byte Fest in 1990.

Provenance

Bought as part of a box of disks at an estate sale and donated anonymously. The tape was sticky with binder breakdown and was baked at low temperature before a single careful read. Most of the work survives, but some files are lost. The damage map lists them.

In the reading room it runs in emulation under profile LZE-ZXS-6, from a read-only copy of the recovered image, as it would have on the ZX Spectrum.
