Description
Control firmware for a cash register, read from the machine’s chips before it was scrapped.
Provenance
Sent to Lazarus by post, with a note asking whether anything could be saved. The card had sat unpowered for years; it was read at low voltage, several times. All files were recovered; 42 damaged sectors were rebuilt from redundant data.
