Quiet Mines

Pebble Computing, 2006. Game for a disc-based console.

Description

A text adventure for a disc-based console, published by Pebble Computing in 2006.

Provenance

Deposited by East Redville Public Library, from its own collections. The dye layer had begun to fail at the outer edge; the last sectors came from a second read in a different drive. Everything was recovered, with a few damaged files repaired from a second copy.

Free, in the Lazarus reading room in Vancouver and in partner reading rooms. The license does not permit copies to be taken away.

In the reading room it runs in emulation under profile LZE-DISC-4, from a read-only copy of the recovered image, as it would have on a disc-based console.
