OspreyCopy 3.8

Beacon Software, 1990. Application software for the ZX Spectrum.

Description

A disk utility for the ZX Spectrum, written by Beacon Software for office workers.

Provenance

Sent to Lazarus by post, with a note asking whether anything could be saved. The tape was sticky with binder breakdown and was baked at low temperature before a single careful read. About 77 percent of the data could be read; the gaps are mapped.

In the reading room it runs in emulation under profile LZE-ZXS-6, from a read-only copy of the recovered image, as it would have on the ZX Spectrum.
