HelixUtilities

Wolffield Software, 1978. Application software for VAX/VMS.

Description

A disk utility for VAX/VMS, written by Wolffield Software for home users.

Provenance

Sent to Lazarus by post, with a note asking whether anything could be saved. Read once, slowly, on a restored drive. A second pass was not attempted. About 88 percent of the data could be read; the gaps are mapped.

Access

Free, in the Lazarus reading room in Vancouver and in partner reading rooms. The license does not permit copies to be taken away.

In the reading room it runs in emulation under profile LZE-VAX-4, from a read-only copy of the recovered image, as it would have on VAX/VMS.
