Description
A photo-sharing site whose 13 million photographs were due to be deleted when it closed in 1999.
Provenance
Recovered from a hosting company’s retired backup tapes, with the owner’s permission. The tape was sticky with binder breakdown and was baked at low temperature before a single careful read. About 82 percent of the data could be read; the gaps are mapped.
