Barbridge oral history project

Barbridge Historical Society, 1985–1992. Sound recording for studio equipment.

Description

Interviews with 49 older residents of Barbridge about their working lives.

Provenance

Found in a school storeroom when the building was cleared. The tape was sticky with binder breakdown and was baked at low temperature before a single careful read. Only fragments could be read. They are kept because nothing else of the work survives.
