Description
Touch-screen guide software for the art gallery of a waterfront pleasure park, with catalogue entries for more than a thousand works.
Visitors chose a room on a floor plan and were shown each work in it, with notes and a short audio commentary. The catalogue was updated by gallery staff until the park closed.
Provenance
The park closed after its gallery flooded. The kiosk’s two drives were recovered from the basement plant room years later, when the building was finally pumped out; both had been under water.
About 70 percent of the catalogue could be read. The trust that ran the park has been dissolved, and no rights holder has been found.
